From London to Bangkok
This evening we will be leaving London and flying to Bangkok! I'm pretty excited to get further into our trip, and to fly back to Asia. Gavin and I enjoyed ourselves so much on our last trip, which was over two years ago now. After a few fun filled days in London I feel ready to move on. Yesterday we went to see Big Ben and the Parliament buildings and the streets were surrounded by 800 police officers, paddy wagons up and down the streets and motorcycles whizzing by. It was the first day that Parliament had reopened after the summer break and there was rumour of a large protest. I got a giggle out of seeing in the paper later that day that only 50 protesters turned up! Something about banning democracy and being an anarchist, ya, that will work... Until Bangkok then.
