The London life
Today is a day to be drawn back into my love of London. I went for a morning run in the South end, near Clapham, where I am staying. After taking a train into Waterloo I decided to spend a few hours walking along the River Thames. This included stopping at the booksellers outside, hearing some live music, seeing happy couples gazing at each other by the water, picking up a fresh sandwich from the market and relaxing by Tower Bridge with my book.I feel blessed to be here and love this feel of the old city - with stunning architecture and spirit everywhere. I'm by Covent Garden right now and will be meeting up with Jess and Jonny for dinner at a noodle house, Wagamama, one of my fav's. Then we are off to a comedy show in Leicester Square. They are a lovely couple and last night I was spoiled with a homecooked curry and a long sleep in their cozy spare room.
Gavin and I have been apart for the last few days, as i spent a night with my cousins in Manchester and he visited friends elsewhere in England. I am ready for us to start this adventure together though and will see him tomorrow.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in Canada. Feel free to write comments on here or to email me! Love to everyone. Hey is there any more snow in Banff yet anyone?
