3 days left in Melbourne

Here is my pregnant friend Andy, looking beautiful and happy on the beach by her house. We went down there for 2 nights to visit, it's in the Mornington Peninsula which is where we went with Cass and Pete for our wine tasting weekend. I like the rugged beaches near her house. It rained soon after we were there, which is good as they are having a big drought in these parts.

Yesterday we caught up with some friends who I lived with in London (Cass and Pete included). I think Gavin just assumes every Australian I know from the UK now is from 31 Anson Road, as there were 27 people living there at once! And of course not everyone stays the whole time you were there so there are a lot of crossovers.

Tonight Cass and I are having a girls night out - look out Melbourne! Gavin and I leave early Thursday morning so we've got some packing to do, Emma's to visit for a bbq, a museum to wander around and cheap movies on Tuesday to possibly take advantage of before we leave. I'm also getting pretty excited about returning to CANADA in 6 weeks time, wow how the last 4 1/2 months have flown by. We are loving it though. I'll be in 38degree heat in Alice Springs on Thursday.
